Christensen Construction of Logan Merges with Geneva Rock

Orem, UT, September 4, 2007 – Geneva Rock, a leader in ready-mixed concrete and rock products in Utah, announced today that it has acquired the stock of Christensen Construction of Logan, Utah, and merged the two companies effective September 4, 2007.  The combined companies will continue to operate under the name of Geneva Rock Products.

“We are excited about the opportunity this provides both companies,” said Al Schellenberg, President of Geneva Rock Products. “We will continue to do the same type of work that we have done in the past and expect that our operations will grow and become even stronger under this new organization.”

The merged firm will provide:

• Excavation, pipe installation, site work, and utility work services
• Ready-mix concrete products
• Sand and Gravel products
