UDOT commissioned Geneva Rock to rotomill out 1-1/2″ of existing asphalt on I-15 and replace with 1″ of Bonded Wearing Course (BWC) sprayed onto the pavement. Geneva Rock is the first company to use the Roadtec Spray Paver in Utah. BWC is an industry-leading technology that delivers a durable, open-graded, drainable surface with a lifespan of 10+ years. Additionally, this project required adding 33 signs and replaced 4 overhead signs. The project required a repave of the full width of I-15 north and south for 7.5 miles. The most challenging aspect of this project was traffic control with safety as a first priority in a short time frame.
  • Lehi City Waste Ditch

    The city of Lehi, Utah sought to increase the allowable amount of water their municipal drainage ditch could handle. The Lehi City Wast Ditch Improvements project includes removal of  four existing pipe culverts, replacing them with pour-in-place box culverts.  Utilities and asphalt paving work was also completed at the end of the project to improve the surrounding areas. Geneva

  • I-80; 1300 E to I-215 Interchange

    The project runs 7 days per week night and day with multiple lane restrictions during both day and night. This is a maintenance project as UDOT will put out to bid in 10 years to re-build the whole project.

  • I-15; Farr West to Brigham City

    The I-15 North of Brigham City consisted of widening 26 lane miles if interstate roadway from Farr West to Brigham City, Utah. Project included widening 8 bridges with new drainage, pipe lining and a new retaining barrier wall. The project also included reconstruction of the entire 13 mile corridor including the Port of Entry in
