Ryan Dalling
President
As President of Geneva Rock Products, Ryan Dalling leads all teams, divisions, and operations. He previously served as senior vice president and vice president of construction at Geneva Rock and the vice president of masonry at Suncore Corporation. Prior to his time at Suncore, he worked for eight years in the oil & gas industry in various commodities trading and marketing roles. Ryan received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BYU-Idaho, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in business administration from Brigham Young University. Additionally, he serves as a member of the board of directors for the Utah Asphalt Paving Association (UAPA). In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, riding horses, ranching and taking road trips. He and his wife, Christy, are the parents of six children and currently reside in North Salt Lake.Brandon Pace
Vice President, Concrete Division
Brandon Pace serves as Vice President of Geneva Rock’s Concrete Division, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career at Geneva Rock in 1998 as an intern and has since held a variety of roles, including estimator, project manager, sales representative, area manager and division manager. Brandon has played a key role in shaping the division’s operations and customer service approach. He helped lead the Project Phoenix reorganization and implemented the Market Manager model to streamline delivery and logistics. His leadership style is built on clarity, consistency and a deep respect for people. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University.
Scott Thayn
Vice President, Aggregate
Scott Thayn is the Vice President of Aggregates at Geneva Rock, overseeing sand and gravel operations throughout the company. He brings 20+ years of experience to his role. Scott began at Geneva Rock as an Intern in the Construction Division, steadily advancing in his career to Project Engineer, Survey Manager, Estimator, and Project Manager. In 2013, Scott transitioned to the Aggregates Division and continued his career as Area Manager and Division Manager. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Brigham Young University and maintains a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Scott and his wife, Heather, reside in Lehi with their three children. He is active in his community, currently serving as a member of the Lehi City Parks and Trails Committee. Outside of the office, he enjoys many hobbies including camping, riding his side by side, plowing snow in his neighborhood, technology, designing and building homes, and spending time with his family.Britton Burton
Vice President of Construction Services
Britton Burton serves as the Vice President of Construction Services at Geneva Rock Products. With a career at Clyde Companies beginning in 2005, Britton was instrumental in the growth of Construction Services at Suncore. Starting as an intern, he progressed through roles as an estimator, project manager and area manager, focusing primarily on the Salt Lake area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Western Governors University. Britton resides in West Jordan with his wife, Rachel, and their four children. Outside of work, he enjoys planning home projects, attending professional sporting events and traveling with his family.
