Jay Ritchie

President

As President of Geneva Rock Products, Jay Ritchie leads all teams, divisions, and operations. His extensive history as Executive Vice President, Vice President of Concrete, and as an Area Manager qualifies him to steer this multi-million-dollar organization with a workforce of more than 1,000 employees. With more than 37 years in the construction materials and construction industry, Jay brings to Geneva Rock Products a passion for quality products and premium service. His teams are focused on providing the highest quality product, to the right locations at the right times. Jay currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. He has previously served as the mayor of West Point City, UT, and received a degree from Weber State University in 1979. Jay’s hobbies include playing golf and supporting his Dodgers. Jay and his wife Paula reside in West Point and have three children and five grandchildren.

Carl Clyde

Vice President, Gravel & Asphalt

Carl has been with Geneva Rock for over 35 years. He got his start as a lab technician and construction estimator. He then moved into gravel and asphalt sales before becoming the gravel and asphalt division manager, leading into his current position as vice president of the aggregates division. Carl received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Brigham Young University. He has served as the vice-chair of the Springville City Planning Commission, committee chair of the AGC Intermountain Chapter, Aggregates and Environmental Committee, and as a board member of the American Concrete Institute, Intermountain Chapter. Carl and his wife Heather have five children, three boys and two girls, and two grandsons.

Terrence Savage

Vice President, Concrete Division

Terrence works on the Geneva Rock leadership team as the Vice President of the Concrete division. Terrence has proven executive leadership and the ability to develop new businesses and bring them into operational excellence. Before joining Geneva Rock, Terrence worked at Savage Services for over 30 years, where he served as Vice President of finance and operations and senior vice president of trucking and logistics. In these roles, Terrence executed market strategies and oversaw supply chain solutions, trucking, and logistics for transportation of crude oil, coal, industrial products, and more. Terrence has an MBA from Pepperdine University and an undergraduate degree in business administration. He has served as a board member on both the Utah Safety Council and the Utah Mining Association.

Ryan Dalling

Vice President, Construction

Ryan Dalling is vice president of construction at Geneva Rock Products. He previously served as vice president of masonry at Sunroc Corporation. Ryan's career at Clyde Companies began in 2017 at Sunroc where he was instrumental in expanding masonry production into the Salt Lake region and growing sales into other areas in Northern Utah, Las Vegas, and Idaho.
Prior to his time at Sunroc, he worked for eight years in the oil & gas industry in various commodities trading and marketing roles. Ryan received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BYU-Idaho, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Brigham Young University.
Additionally, he serves as a member of the board of directors for the Utah Asphalt Paving Association (UAPA).
In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, riding horses, ranching, and taking road trips. He and his wife, Christy, are the parents of six children and currently reside in North Salt Lake.
