President

As President of Geneva Rock Products, Ryan Dalling leads the company’s teams, divisions, and operations. Since joining Clyde Companies in 2017, he has served in several leadership roles, including senior vice president and vice president of construction at Geneva Rock and vice president of masonry at Sunroc (now Suncore). Earlier in his career, Ryan spent eight years in the oil and gas industry, honing skills in trading, marketing, operations, and strategic planning. His experience gives him a well-rounded perspective as he helps Geneva Rock build on its solid foundation and prepare for the future.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BYU–Idaho, along with master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration from Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys camping, hiking, riding horses, and sports activities with his wife, Christy, and their six children.

Brandon Pace

Vice President, Concrete

Brandon Pace serves as Vice President of Geneva Rock’s Concrete Division, bringing nearly three decades of construction experience and a career-long commitment to the company. Since joining Geneva Rock as an intern in 1998, he has worked in nearly every area of the division—including estimating, project management, sales and operations—giving him a well-rounded understanding of the people, processes and customer relationships that drive the business.

Throughout his career, Brandon has helped lead meaningful changes designed to improve coordination, delivery and customer service, including the Project Phoenix reorganization and implementation of the Market Manager model. Brandon holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Brigham Young University.

Scott Thayn Vice President, Aggregates at Geneva Rock

Scott Thayn

Vice President, Aggregates

Scott Thayn is Vice President of Geneva Rock’s Aggregates Division, overseeing the company’s sand and gravel operations and helping ensure customers have access to the materials essential to Utah’s continued growth. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Scott has built his career at Geneva Rock, beginning as an intern in the Construction Division and advancing through roles in project engineering, surveying, estimating and project management. He joined the Aggregates Division in 2013 and went on to serve as an area manager and division manager before assuming his current leadership role.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He also serves on the South Valley Chamber Board of Directors, supporting collaboration among businesses and communities throughout the region. Scott and his wife, Heather, have three children. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, riding his side-by-side, exploring technology, designing and building homes, and spending time with his family.

Britton Burton

Vice President, Construction

Britton Burton is Vice President of Construction Services at Geneva Rock, bringing more than 20 years of experience across Clyde Companies. He began his career as an intern in 2005 and advanced through roles in estimating, project management and area leadership, with much of his work focused in the Salt Lake area. His experience across multiple aspects of construction has given him a practical understanding of what it takes to plan and deliver successful projects while building strong relationships with customers and team members.

Britton holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Western Governors University. He and his wife, Rachel, live in West Jordan and have four children. Outside of work, Britton enjoys home improvement projects, attending professional sporting events and traveling with his family.
