Geneva Rock was honored with three awards at the AGC of Utah’s 104th Annual Convention, recognizing recent transportation work and continued partnership with the Utah Department of Transportation.
2025 Airport Transit Project of the Year
Provo Airport Terminal Apron Expansion
As part of Provo Airport’s multi-year expansion, Geneva Rock completed the terminal apron expansion supporting the increase from four gates to 10. The added capacity will allow more aircraft on the ground at once and helps meet growing travel demand in Utah County. The project is playing an important role in improving regional access and supporting local economic activity.
2025 Urban Transportation Project of the Year
SR-203 (US-89 to SR-39), Ogden Valley
Geneva Rock improved safety and reliability along a heavily traveled corridor in Ogden Valley by resurfacing roadway, adding new striping and signage, and working within narrow shoulders and high traffic volumes. The team completed the project five days ahead of schedule while maintaining careful traffic control and consistent communication with the public.
2025 UDOT Contractor of the Year
UDOT named Geneva Rock its 2025 Contractor of the Year based on performance across its body of work. The recognition shows Geneva Rock continually maintaining strong coordination with inspectors, providing clear public communication, and putting together a team effort to recover schedule challenges while keeping safety and quality front and center.
These awards speak to the kind of work Geneva Rock teams take pride in, projects that strengthen communities and improve how people travel. They also recognize the people behind the work and the consistency and accountability they bring to every job. Congratulations to everyone involved!
