Geneva Rock Receives Six Awards for Excellence in Concrete
Utah-based company recognized at the 25th Annual ACI Intermountain Dinner

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – February 25, 2012 – Geneva Rock Products today announced it has been awarded six “2012 Excellence in Concrete Awards” from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) for its work on several high-level construction projects across the intermountain region.

Representatives of the company will accept the awards at the 25th Annual ACI Intermountain Chapter Excellence in Concrete Awards Dinner at the Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City on March 15. The dinner is being held in conjunction with the 2012 Annual Concrete Spring Symposium.

At the event Geneva Rock will receive awards for three projects in the Ready Mix Division, two projects for the Concrete Paving Division, and one project for the Construction Division. Here is a list of those award-winning projects:

  • F-22 Heavy Maintenance & Back Shop Phase II
  • Huntsman Cancer Hospital Phase IIB Expansion
  • James L. Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building – a USTAR Innovation Center
  • Dimple Dell Park Tunnel – 1300 East Improvement Project
  • SR-39 Washington Blvd. to Harrison Blvd.
  • Layton High School Addition & Remodel
