Asphalt Paving at the Mayflower Resort in Wasatch County near Park City

The Mayflower Mountain Resort is an Extell Development Group Owned Project, located in the MIDA Project Area, Wasatch County, Utah. The purpose of the proposed MIDA project area is to provide the military with a “Morale, Welfare and Recreation” facility or hotel (similar to other facilities they have around the world) in a ski resort setting. This will be the only MIDA facility at a United States ski resort and will serve as a tribute to the men and women of our armed services.

To have a quality military recreation facility, the desire was to locate the hotel in a larger, master-planned development that provides a four-season recreation opportunity including skiing, fly-fishing, boating, hiking, mountain biking and golfing—the Mayflower project fulfills that expectation. The Resort Village will include restaurants, night clubs, spas and other amenities.

The Village will include ski infrastructure with several new ski lifts allowing skiers and mountain bikers access to extensive terrain, both summer and winter, while overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir.

The resort village concept will feature multiple luxury and lifestyle-branded hotels and more than 1,000 private residences ranging from estate lots to luxury condominiums.

This summer Geneva Rock has provided Extell Development Group, New Star General Contractors and Pikus Concrete, approximately 7,000 CY of concrete for the Pioche Apartments, which is the first initial phase of this project. This November we have partnered with Jacobsen Construction and Wadsworth Brothers to provide an estimated 45,000 CY of concrete for the Construction of the MWR Conference Hotel that will be completed over the next couple years. Once complete, the hotel will offer 60,000 square feet of conference space and 387 guest rooms – 100 of the guest rooms being reserved for military personnel along with 55 private residence.
