Osprey Land Development Construction

Project Details

Geneva Rock is hard at work on the Osprey Ranch project in Eden, Utah. This $5.6 million project is split into two phases. In the first phase, Geneva Rock is transforming the landscape to help create a sustainable and functional environment. The scope of Phase 1 includes the following achievements:

    • Roads and Embankment (105,000 CY): Our expert team meticulously sculpted the terrain, crafting roads and embankments that seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings.
    • Sewer Infrastructure (10,500′ 8-10″ sewer, 3,200′ 2″ pressure sewer): The project’s vital sewer network was established for efficient and reliable waste management.
    • Lift Station (1 lift station): A strategically positioned lift station now serves as the backbone of the project’s sewer system, efficiently transporting waste.
    • Reinforced Concrete Pipe (2,500′ 15-24″ RCP): The incorporation of reinforced concrete pipes enhances drainage capabilities, safeguarding the integrity of the entire development.
    • Roadbase and Asphalt Paving (40,000 ton roadbase, 6,000 ton HMA roadway, 1,500 ton HMA trail): The roads and pathways of Osprey Ranch were constructed with a roadbase and high-quality hot mix asphalt (HMA) for longevity and durability.

Innovation and Technology

Utilizing drone flights prior to the commencement of work allowed us to gain invaluable insights into the earthwork requirements of the project. This advanced planning enabled us to minimize soil movement and reduce environmental impact. Our internal survey group played a pivotal role in accurately estimating quantities for bidding and tracking progress.
The project started Phase 2 by the end of summer 2023.
