The I-15 North of Brigham City consisted of widening 26 lane miles if interstate roadway from Farr West to Brigham City, Utah. Project included widening 8 bridges with new drainage, pipe lining and a new retaining barrier wall. The project also included reconstruction of the entire 13 mile corridor including the Port of Entry in Box Elder County. The pavement section was 6 inches of road base, with 3 inches of HMA, and 9 inches of PCCP. All pavement markings removed and replaced as part of a large change order. There were additional change orders for a bonded wearing course on the last 2 miles of the project the full width of I-15.
  • Provo City Rehabilitation

    This project consisted of concrete removal and replacement on sidewalks, curbs and water ways prior to milling and paving the streets. We had multiple areas that were worked in across town simultaneously. The challenge on this project was the coordination of several crews and moving machinery in multiple areas so we can move from one

  • Silver Creek to Wanship

    Innovation, technology and environmental consciousness are of the highest importance at Geneva Rock. These were vital standards during the I-80 Silver Creek to Wanship project that was recently completed. UDOT teamed up with Geneva Rock to replace this 7 1/2 mile stretch of I-80 that had corroded due to the high altitude and harsh environment.
